This page explains what we store about you when you send in a product request or contact us as a business, why we do it, and how long we keep it.

What we store
When you send in a product request, we store the name and mobile number you provide, which product you're asking for, any comment you add, and when the request was sent. If you use the form on the business page, we also store the company name, its organisation number, what the enquiry is about, and your email address if you give one. If you send an order, we store the shopping list, whether you're collecting or want it delivered, the delivery address if it's being driven out, and when you need it. The order is emailed to the store at the same time. We also store a technical spam guard, so the same sender can't submit an unlimited number of enquiries in a short time.
Why we store it
Your name and number are used for two things: getting back to you, whether that's word that a product is in or a call about the business arrangement you asked about, and seeing that the enquiry comes from a real customer. We don't use the number for marketing, and we don't share it with anyone. The processing rests on our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you sent us.
Who sees the information
Only the store manager and the people who run the website have access. The data is stored with Supabase and the site is hosted by Vercel, both on servers within the EU.
For how long
Product requests with contact details are deleted automatically after six months. We may keep the product name itself longer, but without your name and number, so the store can see what's been asked for. Business enquiries and orders are deleted after twelve months: a company that asked in March may well get back in touch in November, and the store manager should be able to see that you've spoken before. The company name and the shopping list itself may be kept longer, but without the contact person, number and email, so the store can see what businesses have asked for.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see what we've stored about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted early. Contact us at joker.osebro@joker.no or call 98 21 85 48 and we'll sort it out. If you believe we're handling your details wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
